This is the website of Unbecoming Notes (unbecomingnotes.com). I’m Sthephane, and I run this site. If you have any questions about your privacy, you can write to me at hello@unbecomingnotes.com.

What information I collect

  • When you write to me: if you use the contact form, I receive your name, your email address, and your message.

  • When you subscribe: if you join my email list, I receive your email address.

  • Technical information: like most websites, my hosting provider may automatically record basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit.

I do not ask for sensitive personal information, and please do not send it to me through the form.

How I use your information

  • To reply to your messages.

  • To send you new notes by email, only if you subscribed.

  • To keep the site working and safe, and to understand which notes people read.

I do not sell your personal information.

Email newsletter
If you subscribe, I’ll email you when a new note is ready. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You can also write to me and I’ll remove you from the list.

Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies and similar tools to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are read the most. This helps me write better notes. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Services I use
To run this site, I use services from other companies. They may process some of your information under their own privacy policies:

  • Hostinger: hosts this website and sends my emails and contact form messages.

  • YouTube and Facebook: the site links to my channel and my Page. If you click these links, their own privacy policies apply.

  • Google Analytics: to measure visits to the site.

How long I keep your information
I keep your messages and your email address for as long as needed to reply to you and to keep you on the list. You can ask me to delete them at any time.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask to see the information I have about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how I use it. To do any of these things, write to hello@unbecomingnotes.com. I’ll reply as soon as I can.

Children
This site is not meant for children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
